Accelerating Climate Change Action Through Applied

Science and Tested Practices

Site under maintenance

The Science for Climate Action Network (SCAN) is a national network of leading scientists and practitioners who facilitate the application of science to support climate adaptation and mitigation solutions. SCAN uses a “community of practice” approach to convene scientists, stakeholders, and policymakers in sustained dialogue to identify leading practices in science-based risk management relevant for national, state, tribal, community-based, and private entities.

Progress in addressing climate change fairly and effectively requires an approach that combines the strengths of federal and non-federal institutions and that works with existing adaptation professionals and networks. For further information, please contact us: info@climateassessment.org
